Photos, Films and Final Days
Just waiting on final photos and films to be edited for the site. Keep checking back! Show is open till Sunday and then the bulldozers move in so get on down there!
Opening Depot
Sunday's opening went like a dream. A great mix of city and local people were treated to the amazing performance of Ben Morieson's White Wash. Grenda's bus wash loaded with blue paint and a white box setup in the wash bay. We have received an incredible response with the show. The exhibition is on till Sunday. 12 Midday till 6pm. Thanks again to everyone who help with the show especially Jenny and Grissel who worked tirelessly throughout the project.
ABC Doco
The surprise that we haven't told you is that Fiona Dalziel from ABC Arts has filmed the whole project and will be editing a doco to be shown later this month. Stay posted and we will let you know!
Final Touch
The end is close. We are just putting the final touches on peices and working through the site to make it safe for viewers. Robbie and Matt decided to do a last minute work and dragged all the lockers out to the carpark. Campbell and James will be working to the finish line. Jenny is half excited and half pulling her hair out with all that has to happen for opening. She has done an amazing job of helping on every level. She has built a tape ball the size of texas from all the masking Cambell and James used. Ahhh what a relief Sunday will be!
Storm
We were hit by 120km winds today. It sent most of us mad. Cam had to abondone roof work on his piece. We ran over to see a test run of Ben's work but were blown off our feet by the wind. Not the best day so far. Off to Dandy Hotel for hopefully a good nights sleep.
